Temporary Closure of Guardhouse Guest Lane Due to Structural Damage

April 4, 2024

Dear Grand Hampton Residents,

I hope this email finds you well. However, I must bring to your attention a significant incident that occurred earlier this morning. Unfortunately, a large vehicle struck our guardhouse, resulting in severe structural damage.

Due to the extent of the damage, it is currently unsafe to fully utilize the guardhouse. In the interest of safety of the guards and the guests entering the community, we have no choice but to temporarily close the guardhouse guest lane until further notice. This decision has been made with the utmost concern for everyone’s safety and the structural integrity of the guardhouse.

During this period, guests will not undergo full check-in procedures upon arrival to prevent congestion in the resident lane and to prevent vehicles backing up onto County Line Road. However, please rest assured that during overnight hours, the guards have been instructed to conduct the full check-in process for all guests.

Please understand that this is a crucial safety measure we must take to ensure the well-being of our community, the guards, and the residents’ guests. The Association is actively working to expedite repairs and restore the guardhouse to its full operational capacity as soon as possible; however, at this time we do not have a timeframe for when the guardhouse will be fully operational again. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

The safety of our community and its residents remains our top priority. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

Chris Haines
Association Manager
